Dr Niranjan Ariyasinghe

He has a broad interest in the diagnosis and management of skin, hair and nail conditions, with particular expertise in skin cancer, acne, eczema, psoriasis, pigmentary disorders, hair and scalp conditions, and paediatric dermatology.

Dr Ariyasinghe graduated with Honours from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, before completing specialist dermatology training and being awarded his MD in Dermatology with the highest overall performance in the specialist examination. He later undertook advanced fellowship training at the National Skin Centre and Singapore General Hospital, followed by further subspecialty training in psychodermatology at the Royal London Hospital in the United Kingdom.

He completed a fellowship at Sinclair Dermatology in Melbourne before undertaking the Australasian College of Dermatologists’ specialist upskilling program and obtaining Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Prior to relocating to Australia, Dr Ariyasinghe worked for more than 15 years as a consultant dermatologist in Sri Lanka, including serving as Head of Dermatology at several public hospitals and Medical Director of a private dermatology clinic.

Dr Ariyasinghe remains actively involved in medical education as a visiting lecturer for postgraduate dermatology trainees in Sri Lanka and has presented at national and international dermatology meetings. He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and works closely with each patient to develop an individualised treatment plan that achieves the best possible clinical outcomes.
