Dr. Prateek Sharma
After earning his medical degree (MBBS) and completing his residency in dermatology (MD) at Safdarjung Hospital, one of the largest and busiest tertiary hospitals in New Delhi, India – Dr Sharma pursued further specialisation in Melbourne, training at Sinclair Dermatology, Monash Medical Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital, before achieving accreditation as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD).
With over eight years of clinical experience across diverse populations, Dr Sharma combines evidence-based practice with a patient-centred approach to deliver personalised, high-quality care. His expertise spans medical and surgical dermatology, encompassing the management of acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, pigmentation disorders, hair disorders, blistering diseases, autoimmune conditions, and tropical infections.
Dr Sharma is committed to lifelong learning and research, remaining at the forefront of emerging developments and innovations in dermatological treatment.
Dr Sharma currently also works as a public dermatologist at Monash Medical Centre Clayton, where he manages complex and high-acuity cases across a diverse patient population.
Outside of his practice, Dr Sharma enjoys travelling, hiking, fitness, and reading and writing.
Dr Sharma is fluent in English and Hindi.
